Digital Wireless - Wireless Audio Comparison
The following graphs show the results of a 10 tone test of the Zaxcom Wireless microphone system and the Lectrosonics 400 series digital hybrid microphone system. Both systems were tested at the same time under the same conditions. A multi tone test is used to measure a systems ability to reproduce complex waveforms.
The left side of the graph references the instantaneous dynamic range of each frequency in the test. The greater the distance between the peak value and the noise floor the lower the distortion will be at that frequency. Distortion is also presented on the right side of the graph in percent. The purple line on the graph represents distortion and the red peaks represent instantaneous dynamic range.
